New Testament Introduction and Survey II

Tuesdays, August 27 through October 15, 7-9 PM
Whitney Oxford, Instructor

After 400 years of prophesied silence, the Light shined (Isa 9:2): the promised Seed, the Messiah, came to dwell among His people and give Himself as the New Covenant (Isa 42:6; 49:8; Luke 22:20). The rest of the Scripture unfurls New Covenant implications, training the church to make disciples, and instructing her to anticipate “the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus” (Titus 2:13). This class surveys 1 Corinthians through Revelation.

Institute of Grace is a series of classes available to anyone in the church. Classes run eight weeks during the fall and the spring semesters. Institute of Grace seeks to equip and train lay-members and is intended to be accessible to anyone regardless of previous training or experience. Classes deal with topics such as Bible survey, church history, systematic theology, apologetics, hermeneutics, and a variety of other courses. The courses run on a 3-year cycle and culminate in a certificate of completion.
