On Sunday, June 26, a mandatory meeting for ALL VBS workers will be held immediately following the second service in the auditorium. Following the meeting, we will break for lunch (bring your own) and then work to transform the church into the world of this year’s VBS theme “Strong Against the Gates.”

Decorating is open to any in the church who are able to come and lend a hand. Evening service will not be held so the work can be completed to serve the young souls who will attend.

Left and Forgotten Cabinet

Posted: June 20, 2022

We have a new solution for lost & found items! A “Left & Forgotten” cabinet is now located next to the bookstore. Items found around the campus, including those left in the kitchen area, will be placed in the “Left & Forgotten” cabinet. The men serving at the bookstore will assist those looking for “left” items within the cabinet. After a month “forgotten” items will be removed.

Handbell Ministry

Posted: June 19, 2022

Additional ringers are needed to fill the following positions: 2 big bass bells (men would be very helpful) and 3 treble bells. Music literacy is helpful but not required. This would be a great time to join as we’ll be working on bell techniques this summer. Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7 p.m. If you are interested, please contact Terri Gravett.

Spanish Ministry

Posted: June 18, 2022

Join us for a time of prayer, preaching of the word, music, and fellowship with other Spanish-speaking believers Sundays from 4–5:30 p.m. Our summer series is “A Study of the Church - Why do we do church the way we do?”

Nursery Volunteers Needed

Posted: June 17, 2022

With the blessing of a growing church family, we are in need of additional nursery workers. A certain ratio of workers to children is legally required, so rotating workers are continually needed in the nursery ministry. Your willingness to help care for our little ones is always appreciated. The more people serving on the rotation, the less often everyone serves. Every willing heart helps the nursery ministry work well, and you receive the blessings! An approved ministry application is required. Please contact Carrie Fors.

Congregational Album

Posted: June 16, 2022

Our music ministry has released a live album of congregational singing from our Churchmen Conference this past February. The album is called “Churchmen Live 2022” and can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, and other digital platforms.

Scheduling On-campus Meetings & Events

Posted: June 15, 2022

In order to serve the needs of our ever-growing church body, those desiring to schedule any on-campus activity or meeting must first seek approval for usage, via the Facility Request Form found on the church website gibcjupiter.org. Under the 'Resources' tab, click 'Facilities Request' to fill out the form. Please be specific about times, the approximate number of people, rooms needed, set up, promotion, etc. You will be notified once your request has been processed. Please call the church office with any questions.

Mission Encouragement Ministry

Posted: June 14, 2022

There is an opportunity to serve on a Missions Encouragement Team. This would include faithfully writing (via letter or email) an assigned GIBC missionary once a month to encourage, love, & pray for them, and help with care packages from time to time. To be a part of this team, please contact Erin Kotecki (erin3536@gmail.com).

If you’re a member of our church and play an orchestral instrument, the orchestra is always looking for additional players to join them. Please contact Dan Kreider, danielk@gibcjupiter.org, for more information.
